A-      Not what you would think.  The basic idea is that a second is a cigar that has a very small flaw and therefore was not sold under the company’s premium label.  This is generally a hoax.  The cigars are generally not seconds but the tobacco sure is.  Cigar companies generally only have so much grade A or B tobacco, but plenty of C and D.  Instead of not using over half their production they produce incredibly cheap cigars and call them many different things.  Ever notice that your seconds can not hold an ash (the cigar often loses its ash)?  This is because it has short filler, meaning that instead of long straws of tobacco in the center it has chopped tobacco instead.  Now why would a company be selling long filler cigars and have short filler seconds? Exactly.
