Chatham Cigar offers one of the very few walk-in humidors constructed out of spanish cedar (cedrela odorata) which is the only wood deemed acceptable to industry standards. Any wood or substance used in a humidor will mostly likely impart negative characteristics which changes the cigar completely from what the blenders intended them to be. The humidor hosts indirect LED lighting which may be the most expensive option but poses no threat to the well being of the cigars. The humidor is air tight with a double layer of industrial vapor barriers which allows the humidor to hold constant humidity thus protecting the oils allowing the wrapper to preform at the highest possible quality.
